We are now happy to confirm we have made he move over to our new form of nursery updates through the services of Tapestry, this is an app very similar to our previous one of nursery story. We have been sending out invites to the app via emails or when you come to pick up we have asked you to sign up, if you are yet to receive an invite please contact Jo or ask in person and we will set that up.
We will be going to western super mare as our seaside trip this year. we will be going on friday 21st August and seats will cost £12.50 per person. You can reserve your seat by paying a £5 non refundable deposit. We are also offering a saving club this year where you will be able to pay weekly amounts which then will be given back to you the morning of the trip giving you your spending money.

We offer a range of programs to meet the needs of children from infancy through to school age. Our programs include infant and toddler care, both 15 hour and 30 hours are available at this setting , preschool, before and after-school care, and half term clubs for a range of different ages.
This week at caterpillars to butterflies preschool We celebrated nurses day and the children enjoyed playing with the nurses equipment, colouring in and making nurses bags. This helps the children understand what an important job nurses and doctors have and all he equipment they have to use in a hospital.
Today at nursery the children have been celebrating world bee day. They have been learning about Bees, Honey, Bee hives, Pollination and counting the wings and legs on the bees plus looking at the colours on the bees. We have had an activity in our tuff trays with different coloured rice.
The children have also been discovering what life is like on a farm and all the different animals that need to be looked after and all the jobs on the farm. We have had the animals and tractors out in our tuff trays with a mixture of cereals for sensory play.
